Safety is our highest priority and it’s a shared responsibility for us all. That means thinking before you act, taking notice of what’s happening around you and looking after ourselves, our workmates and our customers.

Our commitment to safety is backed up by policies, procedures and support to keep you safe, help you get better if you’re injured and look after your wellbeing. We also invest in communication and education activities to raise awareness about safety, including Safety Time, and updates through our news channels.
Delivery partners and contractors must make safety a priority too. Safety is a shared responsibility. Contractors have a responsibility to:
- ensure the safety of themselves, any workers working with them in their business and any other person who may be affected by how they run their business
- consult, cooperate and coordinate their safety activities with Australia Post.
