Australia Post is rolling out a new feature that allows all team members to reset their password online via self-service. Registering this now will mean you can reset your password if you forget it.
To setup up self-service password reset you will need:
· A smartphone
· The Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your smartphone. This can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
The next time you try to access your OurPost dashboard or Australia Post online applications (Fig 0)
you may be presented with the “More information required” screen. Select “Next” (Fig 1)
You will be prompted to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone. If you have already installed the app, select “Next” (Fig 2)
On the “Set up your account” screen, select “Next” (Fig 3)
Open the Authenticator app on your phone and, if prompted, select “I agree” on the privacy statement.
Select “Scan a QR code.” (Fig 4)
If prompted regarding a backup, select “Continue” If prompted to allow access to your camera, select “OK”
Using the Authenticator app on your mobile phone, scan the QR code displayed on the computer screen (Fig 5)
Select “Allow” on your phone if prompted to be sent notifications.
Click “Next” on the computer screen
An approval notification will be sent to your phone. When received, select “Approve” (Fig 6)
You will receive confirmation that the notification has been approved. Click “Next” on the computer screen (Fig 7)
Enter your mobile phone number. Be sure to select the correct Country and select “Next” (Fig 8)
You will receive a six-digit code via SMS. Type this code into the “Enter Code” field and select “Next” (Fig 9)
You will receive confirmation that the SMS has been verified. Click “Next” (Fig 10)
Congratulations! You have now registered for self-service password reset. Select “Done” (Fig 11)
