From the days of horseback delivery, our business has adapted to make use of technology and expanded to cater for a growing population. Over the centuries, our business changed to make use of rail and aviation in the early 1900s, the telephone in the 1930s and computers in the later years of the 20th century.

We continued to evolve in the 21st century with the introduction of smart devices, the increase in ecommerce and online transactions.

We’ve embraced new technology as it has evolved including sortation equipment, electric vehicles, self-service kiosks, scanners, to meet the changing needs of our customers.

We’ve seen a decline in letter volumes from our all-time peak in 2008 but the shift to digital communication and online transactions has created many new opportunities.
