Applications now open for Indigenous Emerging Leaders Program
Applications are now open for the 2023 Australia Post Indigenous Emerging Leaders Program (IELP).
The program provides an opportunity for culture and leadership to come together and connect our Australia Post Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members who are aspiring to become people leaders.
Since the introduction of the program in 2018, 73 Indigenous team members have completed the program with graduates securing promotions and leadership positions across our business.
“This is an exciting program where our Indigenous team members will have the opportunity to engage and actively learn alongside each other while completing a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. It’s been wonderful to see so many of our past participants progress their careers at Australia Post and I’m confident we will have the same success this year. I encourage everyone who is eligible, to consider applying for the 2023 program,” says National Indigenous Manager, Barb Sheehy.
