The events of the last few years have meant changes in the way we live and work, and for many of us, that brings feelings of uncertainty and anxiety about what is to come. That might include worries for the health of family members, our work, or our financial stability.
This page includes information about how we can support you. Remember, the EAP and WAP is available to all Australia Post employees, their immediate family members, our contractors and licensees, their workers and all of their immediate family members.

Support for others
These fact sheets can help you support your team members.
Domestic and family violence support
During periods of uncertainty such as is occurring with coronavirus, anxiety and stress can be heightened and this can escalate the danger of domestic violence.
You can contact the Domestic and family violence hotline on 1300 338 465 to speak with specialist counsellors, get access to support, referrals to specialist services and receive assistance with planning for safety at work and at home.
Isolation Support
In response to the current pandemic, our EAP/WAP provider has developed a new manager-referred support program which provides weekly outbound call support to employees working from home, who may be at risk in the home environment for reasons of mental wellbeing, illness, family violence or social isolation.
The support covers both emotional wellbeing and practical support, including linking into and referral to a wide range of community based support services as needed. If you are a manager, and have concerns about your employee facing potential risks in the home environment, please view the attached brochure with more detail on the offering.
