Cassandra was nominated for helping others and sharing her knowledge with her team members. She has been acknowledged for her attention to detail, and speaking up to innovate faster and safer ways to sort parcels and deliver for our customers.
Borith Ban, Driver/Sorter, South Canberra Van Services, Network Operations, ACT
Borith was nominated for regularly taking the initiative to take on required tasks at work, and ensuring his work area is always clean and safe. He was also acknowledged for his approach to always find a way, and seeking out solutions when he doesn’t know the answer.
Sue Nagel, Postal Delivery Officer, Frenchs Forest Delivery Facility, Network Operations, NSW
Sue was nominated for displaying community spirit during recent lockdowns, receiving heartfelt feedback from a customer for showing exceptional care and support in her role as a postie.
Darren Terry, Postal Deliver Officer, Broken Hill Delivery Centre, Network Operations, NSW
Darren was nominated for his efforts to rescue a customer who had fallen out of their wheelchair in their home.
Melissa Harpley, Postal Services Officer, Casuarina Post Shop, Retail, NT
Melissa was nominated for providing exceptional customer service, setting a fine example to her team members. In a recent customer experience report, Melissa was acknowledged for being a “legend” and “the most helpful person” the customer had ever been served by.
Tony Coleman, Postal Delivery Officer, Palmerston Delivery Centre, Network Operations, NT
Tony was nominated for his heroic efforts in the workplace to apply successful first aid to a team member who was choking. His timely maneuver was acknowledged and appreciated.
Caitlin Price Davis, Postal Manager, Gympie Post Office, Retail, QLD
Caitlin was nominated for being an advocate for mental health and diversity and inclusion. She regularly checks in with team members and provides support information to those that need it. She was acknowledged for having the bravery to call out comments that aren’t aligned with our values.
Dawn Inkson, Senior Postal Delivery Officer, Maroochydore Post Office, Retail, QLD
Dawn was nominated for not only providing support to others, but also regularly asking for feedback so she can find ways to improve. Dawn was acknowledged for always asking for help if she is unsure. Dawn regularly follows up with customers and team members on their wellbeing and has established herself as a trusted figure in the community.
Sari Jesson, Postal Services Officer, Oaklands Park Post Office, Retail, SA
Sari was nominated for a recent great interaction with a customer. Sari went the extra mile to support her customer in her banking transaction, ensuring she had everything she needed to bank at Post. Due to Sari’s extra care, the customer was able to get her transaction completed and she acknowledged her incredible service.
Michael Flynn, Postal Delivery Officer, Glynde DC, Network Operations, SA
Michael was nominated for his leadership and professionalism in his team, being an excellent mentor to his team and always setting a great example by being hands on. He was acknowledged for his can-do attitude, commitment to safety and customers, and overall a positive influence on the team.
Lena Dadson, Administration Manager, Hobart Mail Centre, Network Operations, Tas
Lena was nominated for always finding a way to do the right thing. During the pandemic, she sewed face masks for her team members and the community when mask supplies were limited, and during the bushfires she sewed pouches for rescued injured native animals. She also found a way to reduce waste and support a good cause – but donating expired first aid supplies to the Animal Rescue Cooperative so these didn’t go to landfill.
Nick Bradbury, Mail Officer, Launceston Parcel Centre, Network Operations, Tas
Nick was nominated for doing as much as he can to help deliver for our customers, working efficiently and safely. He was acknowledged for always being willing to take on new tasks, and putting his hand up to support the team when they need it. His nominator described him as extremely motivated, conscientious and hard working.
Inez Howieson, Workforce transition and careers advisor, People and Culture, Victoria
Inez was nominated for her support of an individual team member who was struggling with their mental health and wellbeing during the pandemic. Her nominator reflects on how valuable it was when Inez went above and beyond to support her to feel safe, connected and well during a stressful time.
Charlie Darmanin, Postal Delivery Officer, North Melbourne Delivery Centre, Network Operations, Victoria
Charlie was nominated for his exceptional astuteness to identify and support the rescue of an elderly man with dementia who had been missing for 30 hours. Charlie has been acknowledged for his quick thinking by the family and rescue team.
Brian Leonard, Retail Support Officer, WA/SA Help desk, Retail, WA
Brian was nominated for his calm support of team members who reach out to him for support. Brian was acknowledged for always having a calm response when offering solutions and explanations to support front line teams.
Steven Cox, Postal Manager, South Hedland Post Shop, Retail, WA
Steven was nominated for going the extra mile to ensure a customer received a very important parcel on time for their wedding.
