Audio: Hi everybody and welcome to my monthly video. I'm talking today from our new Perth parcel facility. Hasn't gone live yet, but it will be going live in the next couple of days, it's terrific to be here. I've been planning to get here since I started, but with COVID and a few other things, it's been difficult.
Video: Still images of Paul touring the Perth facility can be seen on screen.
Audio: But had a great couple of days so far, yesterday in our mail-sorting centre, StarTrack facilities…

Audio: So, been a terrific couple of days and thank you to the team, and thank to the team particularly on this facility, who's done a fantastic job to get this up-and-running for Peak. It's been an interesting year.

Audio: We've had some real challenges, obviously getting through COVID, getting through a really good Peak last year. And again, just want to really stress that focus on…

Video: We see Paul speaking direct to camera.
Audio: We've got Botany, we've got the Melbourne Gateway, and we've got other things that we've been able to implement in the last 12 months, we should be in really good shape for Peak this year. We're almost a third of the way through the financial year, to date, and so far we've started off okay.
Video: We see parcels travelling through our sorting facilities at Sydney Gateway.
Audio: We've obviously seen a dip in parcels, due to the economic headwinds that the country's facing…

Audio: …we deliver for our customers and community.
Video: We see Paul speaking direct to camera.
Audio: In the Peak period, we have one team focusing on making sure that everybody participates in helping out delivering for our customers. We're going to ask our people in support centres to commit to three shifts. I'll be doing three shifts.
Video: We see a photo of Paul walking past a StarTrack truck in Perth, followed by a photo of Paul inspecting equipment inside the new facility. We then see video of team members sorting parcel packages at Sydney Gateway.
Audio: To get out there, pick a job that you want to do, that you think is going to allow you physically to do it and fits in with the timeframes that you have. But lets get out there and help our frontline teams deliver what will be, I think, a pretty busy Peak…

Audio: So, a lot of really good things going on, but as we know, number one priority, keeping people safe, physically and mentally, delighting our customers and communities, making sure we watch our pennies and be efficient, and at the same time, continue to focus on the future and laying the groundwork for the next 200 years. So thank you from me, for all the great work you do every day. Let's get ready for what will be a busy Peak period. Look after each other, stay safe and be kind.
