What we've achieved in 2022
As we head into Christmas, the Leadership Team and I have reflected on what we’re most proud of in 2022 – and there’s a lot of options to choose from. Thank you for everything you do for our customers, our communities and each other.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a safe and relaxing break. For those who are working through to support our customers – thank you.

Audio: Hi, everybody. Just want to pass on a Christmas message to you. It's been a very busy year. Thank you for keeping everybody safe. Thank you for your focus on our community and customers. Highlight for me, two key things. One, we launched Post26, clear plan for the future, and second, we launched the AP Way. And how that's been embraced by over 3,000 people, has been absolutely terrific. But this is really a time of year to reflect on the year that's been, and look forward to the year ahead. Regardless of your religion, it's also a time to take a break, and those who are working through Christmas, a big thank you for that. And those who are going to get a chance to take a break, well deserved, and thank you very much for another terrific year.
On screen name plate reads: Catriona Noble, EGM Retail

Audio: What I'm most proud about for 2022 is how our team have been able to adapt and be so resilient, when there's been so much change going on. Whether it be the delivery network changes that were made, whether it's moving into a new facility, whether it's dealing with the floods and the other crisis we've had, returning to the office, or just the more efficient and effective processes that have been implemented during the year. You've looked after yourself and you've looked after each other, and importantly, you've looked after the customers and the community.
On screen name plate reads: Leonie Valentine, EGM Customer Experience and Digital Technology
Video: We see Leonie speaking direct to the camera while wearing a Santa hat.
Audio: I'm really proud this year of the fact that we now have a clear vision, we've got a clear strategy, and it's clearly all about the customer. We've learned how to collaborate really well, across a very diverse group of teams, and we're kicking some goals.
On screen name plate reads: Rod Barnes, EGM Network Operations

Audio: Merry Christmas team. I'm really proud. I know it's a word we overuse, is resilience. Our AP Way has been finding a way, we found that this year through all the challenges. Thank you to all the teams for just making it work.

Audio: Christmas is not a fun time of year for everyone, especially those who have lost loved ones or are struggling with mental health problems, or any other issues at this time of year. I'm really proud of the way Australia Post family have supported our teams in 2022.

Audio: I'm so proud of the incredible work that our teams have done to support each other and our customers through a challenging but really rewarding year. And there were some record breaking moments through the year. It's great that we now have a clear strategy for the year ahead, and when we get back to some sort of new normal in 2023, I look forward to delivering on that strategy for our customers, for our team members, and for the community.
On screen name plate reads: Tanny Mangos, EGM Community, Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement

Audio: I'm so proud of everything we've achieved this year, but I do want to call out two things. The first is the launch of our 2025 Sustainability Roadmap, which aligns with our strategic imperative of creating a sustainable future. The second is the delivering of STEM materials to First Nation scientists across the country, through our new partnership with Deadly Science.
