Divine brushstrokes bring Victoria Park to life

A local customer with an eye for detail, demonstrated his talent to the team at the Victoria Park Post Shop in WA, painting the historic building recently.

Brushes in hand and sitting opposite the store, he painted the outlet and then surprised the Victoria Park team with his work.

Postal Manager, Roslyn Hendry was on lunch at the time, only to return to find the work of art on her desk when she returned.

“It was such a wonderful surprise,” said Roslyn. “The care and effort that he put into the painting is amazing.”

The incredible piece now hangs on the wall in the store just above another piece of Victoria Park history in the form of a photo of the outlet from almost 30 years ago.

The two different eras of the outlet complement each other really well.

They both tell their own stories of Victoria Park.
