Supporting Australian Business during times of disaster
No business can ever be completely sure how they’ll respond during a natural disaster or emergency, no matter how prepared they might be.
From the 2019-20 bushfire disaster, to the floods that followed in New South Wales and Queensland and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has never been a greater need for businesses to prepare for and adapt to uncertain times.
For businesses, being prepared for disasters and emergencies is important on many levels. Businesses are not only run and owned by individuals, they're also responsible for employees and are an intrinsic part of a community.
To help businesses get ready to meet the challenges of a natural disaster or emergency, we have developed two new resources:
- Prepare.Respond.Recover – A guide to disaster readiness for business
- Connecting with Australians through times of disaster and crisis – A support kit for Business and Government.
Connection is at the heart of what we do. With our unrivalled delivery and retail network, our people, and our partnerships with Australian Red Cross and Beyond Blue, we can help provide access to resources and support to business when they need it most.
Check out these resources to learn more about how we and our community partners are assisting business and government in planning and preparation to best support their customers, employees and local community.
